Fuel for a Highland Morning
Eastern Black Sea highland culture
Mıhlama is the breakfast of the eastern Black Sea highland migration: the cornmeal comes from the pantry, the butter and fresh cheese from the pasture. This mixture, pulling into threads in a copper pan, has been handed down for generations as the fuel of those who begin the day in the mountains.
